I loved Speed Racer when it was in theaters! My dad had watched it when the show came to the US, and it was how we bridged my love for anime and cartoons. I still remember how he walked out of the theater, telling me things I didn't realize cause I only watched Speed Racer when it was still on Cartoon Network when I could catch it. He loved the film, and I need to rematch it to relive that memory.
